Liberty League - Scam or Opportunity
The purpose of this article is to give you un-biased review of the Liberty League program, so you can make up your own mind whether this is an opportunity for you.
The Company The founders of Liberty League are Brent Payne and Shane Krider, it has been around since 2001. Their products are in the personal development area and market their products through the direct selling industry. This is a 2-up program, commonly known as an Australian 2-up plan, where you are required to pass up your first 2 sales on your first level.
The Products
Liberty League has 3 products all in the area of personal wellness and self development materials. The first product is a 90 day self help home study course which sells for $1,495. The package comes in the form of a Dvd, Audios, journal, workbook and a few other tid bits.
The second product is a conference, Liberty Conference, this is a 3 day event for 2 people, which basically is a more detailed version of the home study course with inspirational speakers and this sells for $7,995.
The third product is also a conference, Summit Conference. a 5 day event for 2 people held annually, this sells at $12,995 it expands on the first 2, but is more focused on amassing personal wealth.
Start Up Costs
Now, you can come in as an associate with Liberty League for $49.95, plus other monthly costs which consists of $39.95 for the use of the back office, $33 for a communications system, which will allow you to access the training and lastly $15 for an 800 no. for advertising purposes. Although, the monthly fees are optional you can not run your business efficiently without some of them. Beyond Freedom - Purchasing the product is not required, but you will be disadvantaged by not doing so, as you will be required to pass up your first 5 sale to your sponsor instead of the just the first 2.
Total cost to you to come in at the 1st level is $3,632.90, the break down, $1495 product - $49.95 associate fee - $87.95 optional extras - plus the $2,000 in 2 sales you pass up. That doesn't take into account any monies spent on advertising.
The Compensation Plan Liberty League is 2-up compensation plan, which means that when you come in at the Beyond Freedom level, you are required to pass up your first 2 sales to your sponsor. From the 3rd sale you earn a $1000 commission
The 2nd level, Liberty Conference, you will earn a $5,000 commission. In order to qualify, you personally pass up 5 Liberty sales to your sponsor totaling $25,000 profit or purchase the product yourself, but you need 4 more people purchasing the conference from your sponsor in order to qualify you to sell the product.
The 3rd level, Summit Conference, works the same as Liberty Conference, once you qualify you earn $8,000 in commission
In conclusion, while Liberty League is not a scam, because it is a high ticket program your earning can be quite significant, but only if you are an experienced marketer and have financial backing. I certainly don't think this program is for a beginner as it is a difficult program to market and has a high drop-out rate because of the costs involved before you see a profit.
